Who we are
Yorkshire Septic Pros provides septic tank and treatment plant services across North Yorkshire, York and Leeds. We are the controller for the personal data you send through this website. You can contact us about your data at enquiries@yorkshiresepticpros.co.uk or on 07783 172637.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect what you choose to give us: your name, phone number and/or email address, the property postcode, what you need, any details about your drainage system and property, when you'd like the work done, and any photos you upload. If you phone or email us, we keep a record of that conversation.
Why we use it
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, arrange a site assessment and prepare a quote, and to carry out and follow up any work you go ahead with. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing that contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries and keeping proper business records.
Who we share it with
To quote for or carry out the work, we may share the details of your enquiry with vetted local contractors and installers we work with. They may only use your details for your enquiry and the work you've asked for. We also use trusted service providers to host this website and our email. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it for marketing.
How long we keep it
If no work goes ahead, we keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact, then delete them. If we carry out work for you, we keep the records we need for as long as the law and our insurers require.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to how we use it. Email enquiries@yorkshiresepticpros.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if the way we handle personal data changes. Last updated: October 2026.
